When you see the red and white stripes and the brass railings you know you are at Friday’s. TGI Fridays specializes in casual dining, with over 800 restaurants in over 50 countries.

The Friday’s restaurant chain was founded in 1965 in New York City at the corner of 63rd Street and First Avenue. It wasn’t until five years later a second restaurant was added in Memphis Tennessee, from there the chain grew and by 1977 had 31 restaurants open.
